why we're supporting multiple sclerosis charities
"My mum Rose has lived with MS for 18 years. Every day is a frustrating struggle, yet she overcomes her symptoms with sheer determination and grit. She has taught me that one grows as a person by overcoming adversity. Atlantic Discovery has chosen to row for Rose (#row4rose), hopefully raising awareness of MS which affects 2.5m people worldwide, and supporting the charities' work. Our total fundraising target is £60K which we hope will make a difference." Ben Ajayi-Obe
This Christmas, the Atlantic Discovery team are rowing 3,000 nautical miles to raise £60K for Multiple Sclerosis. Monies raised for the MS Society (the orange line on our journey log) will be used for research to find a cure for the condition. Monies raised for the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre (the blue line) will be used to provide support to those with the condition.

The Multiple Sclerosis Society's vision is a world free of the effects of MS. And, they're getting closer. They've invested £155m in world-class research since 1956 and have made incredible breakthroughs. Help them stamp out MS by supporting their research projects.
The blue line
The Berkshire MS Therapy Centre's goal is to make life with MS more managable. They provide specialist treatments and care, but most importantly an understanding and supportive community. Help them give people, like Rose, a better quality of life.
