Tia, Stuart, Cameron and Celo arrived in Hanalei Bay on July 16th after having spent 34 days, 08 hours and 22 minutes at sea. They are the first reinsurance team to ever cross the Pacific Ocean, and now they're also world record holders for the fastest mixed team to cross the Pacific.

One day before the start of the World’s Toughest Row - Pacific, our rowers share some of their reflections before embarking on their 2’800 mile journey to Hawaii. The rowers have, at the time of publishing this newsletter, already spent 3 days at sea.

Released on December 24th, this newsletter focuses on Pacific Discovery’s learnings, achievements and reflections of 2022.

Released on October 10th, World Mental Health Day, it’s all about mental health and our team’s experience with it.

Our first newsletter where we introduce our team, our sponsors and our great cause.

Tia’s blogs about the ocean

Tia recorded her personal perspective of what she saw on the sea to demonstrate to her wholehearted support of the Convex Seascape Survey and the work being done worldwide.

The survey is a five-year, pioneering research project, developing open source carbon data, to harness the potential of the seabed in mitigating climate change. Blue Marine Foundation (BLUE), the University of Exeter and a global network of scientific partners seek to quantify the role of the whole coastal seascape in the global carbon cycle with a highly interdisciplinary programme of leading-edge research.
